How it Started
This all started as a hobby. I began roasting coffee to share with friends and family, and before long, word started to spread. People wanted to try it for themselves—and when they did, they kept coming back and sharing it with others. What began as a small passion project has grown into something bigger, and I’m excited to share it with you.
What's behind the name?
Before she passed in 2022, my mom poured her heart into cross stitch projects she made for every child and grandchild in our family. I often caught her at work—mesmerized by the patience, care, and love she stitched into each piece. Those handmade works weren’t just crafts; they were lasting reminders of her love and the connections that tie us together.
When it came time to name our small-batch roastery, we wanted something that carried that same spirit of care, craftmanship, and connection. That’s how Common Thread Coffee was born—a name that honors her legacy and reflects the love and craftsmanship woven into every roast we share.
